Our travels are only partly funded, and wholly dependent upon the help of others. In return for any contribution - financial, intellectual, social, material, whatever - we offer a certain influence on our choice of roads, homes, and stories. Only by drawing upon the experiences, contacts, and ideas of others can we hope to uncover a truly diverse representation of everyday American reality.

You can support us in a number of ways:

Contacts. Do you know someone who knows someone? We are constantly on the lookout for couches to crash on and people willing to share their stories. Opening a door to us means opening a window to the world.

Publications. Newspapers, magazines, websites - in fact, anything that deals in words and pictures. Our writing centers on a weekly feature about people and places, but we also do on site reports, travel accounts, reviews, etc.

Sponsorships. We need gas in the tank and food on the plate to keep us going. So let us host your banner on our website. Let us write reviews of your budget motel chain along Highway 61. Let us find your long gone uncle in Arkansas. The smoother the road, the further we go.

Experiences. Dos and donts, whats and whatsnots. We don't subscribe to anyone's prejudices, but we'd love to get some hard-earned advice and backwood stories from people who have traveled around the US. Backpackers and briefcasers are welcome to chip in alike.

Queries. What would your favorite US postcard look like? What prejudice would you love to see confirmed or disproved? What festival did you always dream of stopping by? Whatever your question, we'll try to answer it. Whatever your dream, we'll try to live it!
